Sun Lakes # 1 Country Club is the original community of Sun Lakes which was first developed in the 1980s. This area of Sun Lakes is very affordable with economically-priced homes providing exceptional value.

Cottonwood is the second subdivision in Sun Lakes to be developed. This is a lush green area with five lakes joined together by great walking paths. Palo Verde is located just across the Alma School Road from Cottonwood and is the first gated community that was developed in Sun Lakes.
